Crucible Update

Polygon Deployment

The Crucible team recently announced the addition of the Polygon network to the growing list of networks supported by Crucible. Coinciding with this network integration, is the launch of the first rewards program on Polygon spearheaded by MASQ. The expansion to Polygon has the potential to tremendously help increase the adoption of non-custodial staking programs on Polygon due to the significantly lower transaction costs to create and participate in a rewards program.

Leaderboards

Reward Program Leaderboards have arrived! This feature is arguably the most prominent feature drop by the Crucible team since they dropped the Crucible Artwork. Reward Program Leaderboards offer creators a unique opportunity to gamify their reward’s programs. The leaderboards currently display the top 100 reward program participants and allow for a seamless user experience while browsing through the leaderboard.

High Quality Mode

High resolution Crucible Artwork is now available! We have heard time and time again how beautiful the Crucible Artwork is, and now you can finally view your Crucible’s unique beauty in high resolution! Prior to this upgrade, Crucible Artwork was only available in medium quality resolution, but with this upgrade comes low quality resolution too. Low quality mode allows for Crucible Artwork to load much faster on less powerful devices and low bandwidth connections.

Branding Refresh

You may have noticed that the Crucible logo and the Crucible brand got a new look this month. The redesigned logo and branding have helped revitalise the look and feel of the Crucible platform. What do you think of the new look? The Crucible team wants to hear from you. Make sure to jump in the Discord and let the team know your thoughts or give feedback directly via the Crucible website.

Future Plans

  • The Crucible team is working on a significant change to how reward programs will be launched going forward. This upgrade should be coming online in the coming weeks.
  • Additionally, keep an eye out for Crucible Artwork dropping on other networks.

Copper Update

Avalanche Launch

The Copper team successfully deployed to the Avalanche network this month and subsequently hosted the first LBP on Avalanche. This smooth deployment was made possible by the close collaboration between the Copper and Hexagon Finance teams.

Twitter Verification

A LBP creator can now verify their Twitter account on Copper. This allows for an additional layer of trust and transparency to be established between LBP creators and participants.

Future Plans

  • Further work has been done on ██████████ and ██████████. These features will further enhance Copper’s product offering. Making Copper ████████████████████.
  • Copper has selected the next network it will be deploying to and is expecting to go live with the integration by mid to late July.

MistX Update

The mistX project has played an important role in the development of the Alchemist ecosystem since its inception. The mistX exchange sought to become the first decentralized exchange to use Flashbots technology to prevent users from having value extracted from their swaps by sandwich bots.

However, with time this feature became prevalent across exchanges and competition in the space became increasingly intense.

Unfortunately, due to these circumstances, the Alchemist Council and the mistX team have elected to end funding for the mistX experiment. If you are interested in learning more about this, please take a look at this announcement. We sincerely hope for the best for the mistX team and appreciate all of their prior accomplishments.

Council Update

Tokenomics

The Council has been working on a Tokenomics proposal which will make its way to the ballot box within the near future.

Sablier

Working with the team at Sablier, the Council was able to get the $MIST token listed on Sablier’s payment streaming application. Sablier is a payment streaming protocol that runs on various EVM compatible networks. With the listing of the $MIST token on Sablier, the Council, or anyone, can stream $MIST which acts as a quick and easy way to replicate the benefits of vested $MIST.

Product Proposals

Currently, there are three new project proposals that the Council is reviewing. All of the proposals have already had initial meetings with the Council and announcements will be made soon on whether these projects will be officially incubated by Alchemist.

That’s all for our May update! Make sure to be on the lookout for more news coming out in the future…
