Greetings Alchemists! Another exciting month has come and gone. July has been an interesting month for the Alchemist ecosystem with numerous updates for you in this month’s report. Continue reading to learn more about what we have been up to. Enjoy!
New Project 👀
A new project is in the works by a bootstrapped team of community members. Projects materialising via community members organising around a common goal is what Alchemist is all about!
This new project will usher in a new era of governance for Alchemist. Once complete, the project will allow for the community to have a much more active role in the evolution of the Alchemist ecosystem. The atmosphere of the project will be energised with a sense of community and become the de facto place to initiate new ideas.
More news on this front will be popping up in the coming months. Make sure to join our biweekly calls so you don’t miss when the news drops.
Bi-weekly Community Calls
Speaking about our community calls… We held two of them in July with the first being held on July 7th and the second taking place on July 21st. You can listen to these recordings on our YouTube page.
We hold calls every other Thursday. Our next call will take place in our Discord on August 14th. We hope to see you there!
NFT Project
Alchemist had previously announced that it would be incubating a new NFT project. However, due to a misalignment on project timelines Alchemist and the project team decided to part ways.
Ensuring that newly incubated projects can meet the evolving demands of a fast paced crypto world is imperative towards building a successful incubator. As a community that continues to push the boundary of what can be accomplished, we will continue to support and build with project teams who are ready for the challenge.
Sobal
Are you a True OG yet?
There is another exciting project that is building in the Alchemist ecosystem, Sobal. Limited information about this project is available for now, however more details will be made public in the coming weeks.
In the meantime, you can join their budding community by following them on Twitter and joining their Discord.
Crucible
Reward Program Setup
Setting up permissionless rewards programs on Crucible will soon become a reality. This feature has been ready to go for quite some time, however the Crucible team is still waiting to hear back from the external code auditors. Once they are given the all clear from the auditors, they will release this monumental update.
New Team Members
The Crucible team has expanded! They recently welcomed a new business development lead, Shakas, who will help Crucible expand its user base. Make sure to reach out to Shakas and give him a warm welcome in our Discord!

Crucible 🤝 Copper
This month the Crucible and Copper teams released a super exciting integration feature. Now when setting up a Copper LBP you are able to link a corresponding Crucible rewards program.
This integration will allow for LBP creators to also offer a rewards program that any LBP participant can seamlessly access directly from the Copper UI enabling project teams to offer staking opportunities during and immediately after LBPs.
This feature is extremely new and so far one LBP has taken advantage of this feature, which resulted in more than 500 Crucibles being minted over the course of a few days! Watch out for more Crucible and Copper collaborations in the future!
Copper
Network Unification
The Copper team wants to offer as seamless a user experience as possible. That is why they have been working on unifying all of the networks they currently support into an easy-to-use interface.
New Releases
Two big changes to the Copper product have been in development for some time, with the team working hard to perfect these updates. You will want to be following Copper on Twitter so that you are the first to know when the news drops. The α drip has only just begun.
Council
Tokenomics
The outgoing Council worked hard to deliver a tokenomics proposal which is now available for community members to give feedback on. Help craft the Alchemist Tokenomics by posting your thoughts, advice, research, and reasoning on our Discourse page.
